WHY?
I finally did it! I purchased a monthly ticket! This means that my average spend on public transport is $2 a day (as opposed to the average $2.60 one way that I would spend). I should mention, if I haven't already, that my train tickets are cheaper than the average because I am classified as an apprentice and therefore am entitled to half priced fares. This privilege will only last until next year...
The coffee was needed! I'm really not a morning person and this morning was quite a struggle. I stayed in bed half an hour after my alarm rang and the fog of the sleep hadn't lifted by the time I drifted into work so I gave it a little push!
