Wealthier for the experience

Thanks to Natural History Museum of London
BUY:

$15 - the entry fee to the Australian Museum today was worth every cent to wander in wonder and enjoy the talent of the photographers sharing their passion as part of the "Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2012". At times I was dumbstruck at the beauty in our world.

It seems like such a small amount to pay for the privilege.

My entry fee also included access to the Canning Stock Route Exhibit, featuring works by contemporary Indigenous artists from the area surrounding the route in north-east Western Australia. The exhibit celebrated their talent and connection to the land, while revealing yet another chapter in Australia's history where the local Indigenous peoples' knowledge, resources and resourcefulness was exploited.

BUY:

$0 - entry to "Finding Antarctica: Mapping the Last Continent" at the NSW Library.

Again I was able to wander in wonder through the Exhibit Hall, marvelling at the hard work of others as they explored a previously unknown part of the world, giving it shape and mapping it out for future generations. Some of the maps are works of art, others just a lot of work!
